Data_out is a data export routine which processes MicroStation design file data and attribute linkages to generate ASCII output files and commands for translation to ARC/INFO, ETAK MapBase, VORTEX, or Zycor file format. Graphic elements are identified using a list file (*.ulf) that contains pointers to selected elements. Mslink numbers, sequential numbers, text node numbers, or attribute values may be used for element identification. Additional precision when writing lat/lon coordinate values may be specified for output. Export of lines, linestings, complex strings, curves, arcs, b-splines, areas, shapes, point data, annotation, and associated attribute linkages are supported.
