This project involved the compilation of the spatial information representing the City of Eureka parcel basemap, zoning, general plan land use designations, street sign locations, street centerlines and intersections, 1990 and 2000 census blocks and tracts, and fire response areas for the city and surrounding areas.
The land use, zoning, and fire response area data sets were derived from paper maps maintained by the City. All other data were acquired in an ArcInfo format and were topologically cleaned and tested. All data were developed for use with ArcGIS and were referenced to the City of Eureka projection, coordinate system, and units.
