GRS designed and developed a training template for beginning ArcGIS users that can be easily customized to reflect our client's applications and data.  GRS first determines the user's needs, applications, and level of experience (if any) with GIS and then customizes our course using data from the organization's existing GIS or by developing sample data-sets pertinent to the students. GRS designed this course to introduce students to the concepts of GIS as well as the operations of Intergraph's GeoMedia suite of software.   GRS has presented this course a number of times across the US and has adapted it to our individual client's data and applications including forestry, environmental modeling, and land management.

GRS designed and developed this course to teach foresters and resource professionals the basic concepts of GIS and introduce them to the desktop GIS: MapInfo Professional. Students that had rarely used computers were editing GIS data and plotting custom maps by end of this 3-day course.  GRS has taught this class for over 12 years to students across the US.
