Pt_mend is a cleaning/reconciliation utility for graphic GIS data. It resolves coordinate errors within and between linear networks and point features. Pt_mend is ideal for resolving errors in parcel data, and linear/node networks such as water, wastewater, and transportation.

Multi-element Correction
Pt_mend resolves differences of coordinates that fall within the user-specified tolerance. Pt_mend processes end points of lines, line strings, and curves, as well as origins of cells, text and text nodes.
Custom Rules
Pt_mend uses different, user-controlled rules to determine the final solution point for a group of points. Solutions can be based on an arithmetic average, intersection, or modal value of the point data. Elements on different levels may be assigned different levels (weights) of importance to determine precedence when determining a solution.
Error Identification
Pt_mend will also identify dangling endpoints, duplicate points and duplicate lines. The user may choose to flag duplicates, move them to a new level, or delete them entirely.
