The GRS Densitometer is an innovative tool for the unbiased sampling of land cover densities. Our customers use the GRS Densitometer for vegetation assessment, soils, and ground cover evaluation for a variety of applications. To enhance the utility of the GRS Densitometer, GRS has developed data collection and summary software. These applications allow the user to enter data collected with the GRS Densitometer directly into a hand-held or portable computer.
- TransIn -- Edit and process your transect data as you collect it in the field. Trans_in is compatible with any hand-held data recorder that runs Windows CE. - trans_sum -- Processes the data collected with TransIn. Trans_sum i s extremely useful for generating vegetation cover descriptions while in the field or back at the office. This program was written specifically for summarizing data from the GRS Densitometer
