Geographic Resource Solutions

This page contains information regarding current ongoing Fickle Hill Neighborhood activities that for one reason or many reasons are causing problems for this neigborhood.  GRS realizes that one neighbor's problem may not be another neighbor's problem and does not wish to represent or judge what might or might not be considered a significant Neigborhood Problem.  That stated, only problems that impact what GRS considers to be a significant number of neighbors will be listed.  

For example, Recology's insistence on using only their garbage cans whose lids cannot be strapped shut due to their use in the mechanized way Recology has automated garbage pickup is enabling bears to topple garbage cans and cause the cans to flop open, thereby providing the bears' next meal as they spill the garbage out of the can and spread the garbage out as they search through it for food making a big mess to clean up.  It was such a frequent problem for this site's moderator that he now takes household garbage to the dump once a month.
